Today was the wedding of my good friend Kenny. He married his partner Harry in a ceremony in Los Angeles, CA. I had the honor of being Kenny's best man. It was a wonderful day. It was also unique. Why unique who ask? Kenny and Harry did not want the typicla wedding day. Things like the edition of Star Trek lapel pins and cuff links, Star Trek figures within the decorations, and the unusual cake made for a out of the ordinary day.

what is it? It's a Borg Cube from Star Trek!

Who made the cake? Simply Yours, Cakes by Design. They're a cake company from Sonoma County, CA. Clearly they can make any request.

up on the roof top

Tonight I was at a work party to celebrate the accomplishment of a large project. Let's not forget how tedious and consuming the project was as well. But on to the party. Our event was held at The Standard Hotel in downtown LA. The Standard is all about the "scene". Usually twenty something hipsters and pretty people being cool. The place is fun and different. Does red afro turf say anything??? Here's a few pics of tonight as we enjoy the rooftop scenes.
