Here's my newest music crush in the world of guilty pleasures. It's 2NE1, the all girl, Korean pop/rap group. They're pure pop culture and I love it. It makes me almost want to be a young, thin, Asian woman.

Amazon is at it again with a new release album for only $3.99. The new Depeche Mode - Sounds of the Universe which arrived today, is on sale. I have downloaded my copy and am already listening to it. The album has a retro feel, similar to some of the group's older tunes. It's a good listen so far. So hurry up if you're interested. The deal won't be around forever.

Our new friends at nextnownetwork have created a site that showcases music videos made for $99 and made in just one day. That's right, if you have time on your hands and know a band (doesn't matter if they suck), you can stylize them for a chance at fame. I am actually thinking about people I know that are in a band or like to make some kind of musical sound that I can make a masterpiece to. Hmmm, no luck so far. This is a clever idea I think. Most of us are familiar with Ikea. A warehouse full or house wares and sales tags with cryptic Swedish names. It's cheap and fun and there is usually something for everyone. Now, introducing a new website from Ikea in their native home. This site blends music, video and advertising together. The more you switch the music around or change rooms and characters, the more entertained (and knowledgeable about Ikea products) you are. The characters are odd and the rhythm is choppy. It's rather fun. Go ahead and have a look.
